Stinker Pot is in the HOUSE!

This is the true "Stinker Pot" face. Just the right mixture of "sassy" from his momma and "aren't I adorable" from his daddy. Not to mention he says, "cheezu", when posing for the picture. Erik in his finest form. Enjoy!

Cars, Trucks, and Buses-- OH MY!

Erik loves anything that you can drive. :) Frequently he will yell, "TAXI", whenever he spots one on the road. The Cars movie is constantly playing on the TV and construction vehicles will get him going as quick as anything else. Not to mention motorcycles and delivery trucks. Maybe TJ should talk him into planes because as far as I can tell, he is going to be a DRIVER!

California vacation- Part 4: Sacramento

We left southern California and headed to Sacramento to go visit Grandma DeeDee (Vicky)! Our first stop with Grandma Dee Dee was to visit Auntie Elizabeth's house where Erik loved visiting the Koi fish pond. Auntie even let Erik get in Achille's dog cage so he could sit with her new Greyhound, Helen. Thanks Auntie!

California vacation- Part 3: Orange

Our next stop was to visit Grandma Anita and her donkey Sweet Pea! Erik loved feeding carrots to the donkey and the dog. We met up with cousin Taylor at Papa Bill and Grandma Joan's house. We had a great dinner in Orange and loved catching up with family. Papa Curt and Auntie Chelsey took us to the zoo before we made it to the grandparents and we got to see the bears! Check out our video. :)

California vacation- Papa Joyner

Our next stop was at Papa Curt's house. Of course it wouldn't be a trip to Papa's without going on a drive to the beach. So Erik, TJ, Papa, Uncle Vic, and I took a drive to Huntington and Laguna beaches. Erik had a great time hanging out with the boys! Auntie Chelsey even came to hang out with us for a couple of days. Erik loved that Auntie spoiled him and played whatever game he wanted. :) We also had our first family concert at Papa Curt's! Check us out!

California vacation- Grandma and Papa Gueffroy

We decided to take a much needed vacation to California so we could visit the grandparents. Our first stop was at Grandma Shirley and Papa Gordon's house. Erik had a great time jumping in the "bouncy" with Uncle Joe. Even Papa Gordon got in on the action. :) We had fun watching Grandma and Papa spoil Erik rotten! We were happy to visit with TJ's cousins, Trish, Joe, Linda, Corey, Debbie, Frank, Zach, and Josh. We even got to see Auntie Kit. :) To this day, Erik still asks for the "bouncy" and asks to see his Auntie Debbie.

Tokyo Disney

As we were feeling sorry for ourselves for not being able to take a hop, we decided to make everything better by going to the "happiest place on Earth". Yep, you guessed it- Disneyland! Tokyo style that is. :) We had a great time and were amazed at how many adults we saw wearing Disney hats. I think there were more adults at Disneyland than children. Even TJ had to wait for a group of 20-something women to ride the Dumbo ride, before he could get on with Erik. :) We successfully wore Erik out and as soon as we entered the tunnel on the train ride- he passed out. Fun, fun, fun! PS. Did we tell you we woke up the next morning to Erik talking about "purple teacup, Daddy spin wheel, wheeeeee!"?

Me and my Daddy!

Erik loves hanging out with his Daddy. Clearly, Erik is going to follow in TJ's footsteps and idolize his father. :) Luckily, I'm not the jealous type.

Our snow trip

Here are some more pictures of our snow trip to Shiga Kogen. Erik loved the bus ride and pointing to the "big snow".  Erik and his friend Quinn tried to make a snowman, but all they could make was a mound of snow. :) I love the picture of Erik laughing because he is not supposed to have the remote control. Enjoy!

SLEDDING!!! WEEEEE!!!

So, is it bad to send your 19 month old down a hill, on a sled, all by himself? Since Erik decided "no Mama" when asked if he wanted Mommy to get on the sled, I decided to let him go by himself. Hee Hee. :) Check the video out- oh- and there were no tears. Just a big grin afterwards. Too bad we didn't get video of when he hit the arched poles and caught about a foot of air. That was priceless. :)
